Diffusive Limit in Non-Convex Domains
Abstract
In this talk, I will discuss the diffusive limit of Boltzmann equation in non-convex domains. We will show the $L^2$ convergence of Boltzmann equation to the incompressible Navier-Stokes-Fourier system in bounded domains with in-flow boundary condition. Our proof relies on a cutoff boundary layer analysis and a new remainder estimates with crucial cancellation argument. This strategy has also been successfully extended to treat neutron transport equation and the hydrodynamic limits problems with local Maxwellian.
